The Consulate General of Sri Lanka in Los Angeles, together with the Board of Investment of Sri Lanka, successfully hosted the “Investment Opportunities in Sri Lanka 2026” webinar on 8th April, 2026, bringing together a diverse group of potential investors, business leaders and stakeholders based in the United States.
The session commenced with opening remarks by the Consul General of Sri Lanka in Los Angeles, setting the stage for a timely discussion on strengthening bilateral investment ties. This was followed by remarks from the Director General of the Board of Investment of Sri Lanka, who highlighted the country’s commitment to fostering a conducive and investor-friendly environment.
Participants were then presented with insights into Sri Lanka’s current investment climate and the facilitation services offered by the BOI. The discussion further explored emerging opportunities in structured investments, outlining potential sectors and avenues for growth.
The webinar concluded with a highly engaging interactive session, where participants exchanged views on opportunities, challenges, and future pathways for collaboration. The dialogue underscored a shared interest in strengthening partnerships and advancing sustainable investment initiatives.
