The Consul General of Sri Lanka in Los Angeles, Ms. Achini Perera visited the Natural Products Expo West USA 2026 exhibition on 05th March 2026 and engaged with the Sri Lankan exporters participating in the event.
The Natural Products Expo West is one of the largest international trade exhibitions in the USA dedicated to natural, organic, and health-oriented products. More than twenty (20) Sri Lankan companies showcased a diverse range of products including coconut-based products, Ceylon tea, spices, and other value-added natural and organic goods, highlighting the country’s growing presence in the global natural products market.
As part of the program, the Consul General hosted a dinner for the Sri Lankan exporters participating in the exhibition. Ms. Rekha Mallikarachchi, Minister (Commerce) of the Consulate General also joined the visit and engaged with the exporters on trade promotion opportunities and possible avenues through which the Consulate General could further facilitate Sri Lankan exporters.
